A Collection of Community Management Advice

Let me start by wishing you a heartfelt, Happy Community Manager Appreciation Day!

Each year #CMAD continues to get better and better, and this year there are no shortage of activities for community managers to take part in. Those who work in online communities be it in forums & message boards, blogs, or social media platforms should all take today to enjoy the communities they’ve built, appreciate each other, and give thanks to the internet for being a thing they get to work in (on? at?).  At times it can be simultaneously a thankless and rewarding job, but it is always exciting to be on the forefront of technological change.

Last week we (TheCommunityManager.com & Marketwire) asked you to submit a few answers to some questions for an e-book that would serve as an excellent collection of advice to community managers of all experience levels.  In just 6 short days, there were more than 600 incredible answers submitted and a book was born.

You can look over the ebook below, or download “A Collection of Community Management Advice” to place on an e-reader and read at your convenience.

Also, don’t forget to join us at 3pm EST on a special #CMAD #cmgrchat to discuss “Appreciating Community Managers” where we’ll talk about how we’re all livin’ the dream.

Thank you to everyone who has made TheCommunityManager.com a great place to be everyday.  We would couldn’t do any of this without you! — Jenn, David, Cali, & Brett
